Who wants to catch a Cub!

Good evening ever since my best friend Gerry passed away last year I haven't had anyone to do our regular outings with and honestly Gerry has been my only friend since the 80's. If anyone in their 50's and likes to watch the Cubs play at Wrigley Field on Tuesday June 16th that would be fantastic! 🐻

  1. Howdy Sir!
Even though I’m a college student at Wesleyan. . . I am also a huge baseball fanatic and would love to go with you to catch a game. Plus, if I’m to young of a crowd to hangout with, my Dad enjoys visiting Chicago and going to any major even there, I can connect you two together if you don’t mind just in time for that June game!

  2. ^ I totally agree with the guy above me. And don’t worry too much about not making friends in Bloomington-Normal, there’s plenty of events and even this blog to meet people and connect especially people in your age range. You’ll definitely Find friends to connect with- friends you didn’t even know were lost! In my sociology class we’re learning about Group Dynamic’s and it’s importance especially within our elder’s generation, because of the lost of close friends and family. If you want to read up more about it in your free time when you’re not busy at Wrigley Field, here’s the article!
